Charles McCabe
The Video
Charles McCabe campaigns his beautifully fleet 1934 Bugatti T59 at three different Vintage events. You'll see lots of in-car camera shots from the 2010 Sonoma Historics and the 2010 Bugatti GP held at Laguna Seca. Charles is very active in the Historic Race scene including American Bugatti Club events and he frequently travels abroad to various international circuits like the Goodwood Revival. Another great plus, his lovely wife Gail actively supports his passion for racing!
The Car:
1934 Bugatti Type 59 
The Type 59 is meticulously maintained by McCabe and with his engineering background conducts a great deal of the repairs and restoration. The engine is a straight 8 dual overhead camshaft and tops out at around 230 horsepower. The car usually runs on a methanol fuel blend and is one of the fastest Type 59's on the planet.
